A complete export is more than a row count
A check can only speak for the records and time window it actually received.
Declare what was covered
Record source identity, test/live mode, capture time and complete-through time. A successfully downloaded first page says nothing about whether later pages were omitted.
Keep corrections in scope
For selected purchase references, include relevant historical ledger entries even if they were inserted or corrected later. Filtering only by a recent timestamp can hide backdated corrections. The supplied PostgreSQL exporter works from a read-only repeatable snapshot.
Fail visibly
A failed page, truncated export, unknown source or stale observation should block a clean claim. Retry from a retained payload where supported, then inspect coverage before acting on the finding.
