Keep it when it is well tested, someone owns it, exceptions are rare and its ongoing maintenance cost is acceptable.
Where Ropely fits
Evaluate Ropely when preserving evidence, coverage, review history, handoffs and repeated checks would otherwise become another internal product. Ropely still requires accurate mappings and operator review; it cannot recover references you never stored.
