Follow the grant from payment to application ledger, even when consumption happens somewhere else.
Keep units explicit
A dollar, a token and an application credit are different units. Ropely uses your versioned Price-to-credit rules; it does not infer the correct grant from payment value.
Inspect both records
Put the purchase and the ledger beside each other. A missing reference is an evidence problem, not proof that a customer should receive another grant.
Understand the snapshot boundary
Recurring allowances and payment-to-access comparisons accept bounded snapshots. They are not continuous subscription monitoring, usage billing or runtime budget enforcement.
